USA : SWIFT is expensive but cheques are cheap for pulling your money out. Expect to drop about 3% on the exchange rate. UK : Is in SEPA, so although you end up with Pounds in your account, the transaction is done in Euros, then converted by your bank. ATM withdrawals have fees, so that’s not a good way to use the card. Talk to your platforms, see where you stand.ĮU and UK (and any other SEPA countries) : the costs are bugger all if you just do a monthly “sweep all the money out to my main account” thing, or use the Debit Card to do spend the money that way. At a $1000, well, worth it because clearly losing your normal bank will be a total shitstorm. However, for payments that are not in Euros, there can be a 25 Euro deposit fee, so you wouldn’t want to do this if you were being sent a $100 payout.
